Jeff Greenberg was born and raised in Martin County, Florida. Jeff received his undergraduate education at Tulane University – where he was a National Merit Scholar, Senator Robert C. Byrd National Honors Scholar, and earned the Tulane Distinguished Scholars Award – graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and Political Science. During his time at Tulane, he also served as a Green Wave Ambassador and as Chairman of the Tulane College Honor Board. In 2011, Jeff earned his Juris Doctor from the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, DC, where he served as a WCL Student Ambassador and wrote for the National Security Law Brief.
Jeff’s career has spanned multiple industries before joining Vernis & Bowling. Most recently, he served as Legal Director at an engineering firm specializing in industrial gas turbines, where he led the patent team in successfully developing an advanced gas turbine in a joint venture with a major Korean manufacturing company. Prior to that, he was the owner and CEO of a healthcare corporation. Jeff often draws on his multi-disciplinary experience in order to assist clients in achieving innovative and efficient outcomes.
Jeff enjoys giving back to the community. After moving back to Florida following law school, he was named Head Coach of the tennis teams at South Fork High School in Stuart, Florida, where he led both the boys’ and girls’ teams to regional playoff berths. Jeff also served as an assistant football coach at the school.
