Zachary was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in Duxbury, Massachusetts. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Zachary has always had a strong desire to serve. While at the University of Arizona, he participated in the Army ROTC program as a non-contracted cadet. Despite a physical disability he attempted to join the US. Army five times. However, because of the physical disability, he was unable to serve in the military. Despite this, he knew he wanted to serve this country in some capacity. With this in mind, Zachary decided to go to law school and become a lawyer in order to fulfill his desire to help people. Zachary also played club baseball while at the University of Arizona.
Zachary then attended Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. During law school, he participated in the Business Start-Up Clinic where he provided advice on helping a client determine which entity was best for their up-and-coming business. During his last semester, he participated in the Corporate Counsel Externship program where he worked at a local Massachusetts utility company under the General Counsel.
Since joining Vernis & Bowling, Zachary primarily handles BI and UM claims.
When Zachary is not working, he enjoys watching his favorite Boston sports teams, going to the movies, and playing in a local adult men’s baseball league.
