Sarah was born and raised in Tanta, Egypt. Her family immigrated to New York City when she was a preteen, where she attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice and received her B.A. in Law and Society. Upon graduating, Sarah moved to Florida where she pursued her Juris Doctorate at Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and graduated with Honors Certificate in Children and Family Law.
During her time in law school, Sarah joined Phi Alpha Delta fraternity, participated in the Collaborative Family Law Clinic, and volunteered at IDignity. Sarah also interned for a year at a small criminal defense and family law firm where she gained valuable experience honing her research and drafting skills. Since joining Vernis & Bowling, Sarah handles automobile liability and personal injury cases.
Sarah pursued law due to her desire to be an advocate for others, to help them navigate complex legal challenges with clarity and dignity. Outside of work, Sarah likes to read, cook, listen to music and visit new places. She is fluent in both Arabic and English and is proud to be a first-generation attorney.
