Ethan Berling is an attorney in Vernis & Bowling’s St. Petersburg office and is a member of the firm’s construction litigation team. Originally from Kentucky, Ethan earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky before attending Stetson University College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor.
Ethan’s background in civil engineering and land surveying provides him with a technical perspective in his construction litigation practice. Prior to attending law school, he gained experience in the surveying industry, including work involving land surveys and the review of title, deed, zoning, and other property-related records. Through this experience and his engineering education, Ethan also developed familiarity with real estate development projects and the relationship between development, construction, civil engineering, surveying, and property-related issues.
In addition to being admitted to practice law in Florida, Ethan is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, having successfully passed the patent bar examination.
Outside of the office, Ethan is an avid Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, and University of Kentucky sports fan. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, and basketball, spending time at the beach, and spending time with friends & family.
