Brandon Caraway was born in Milton, Florida. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. While at Florida State University, Brandon attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts to study War Crimes, Genocide, and Justice as well as Comparative European Union Politics.
Brandon attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and received his Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Brandon attended The University of San Diego School of Law summer program in Paris, France where he studied International Business Transactions and European Union law.
After graduation from law school, Brandon accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit in Florida and was lead counsel for over 50 felony jury trials. Prior to joining Vernis & Bowling, Brandon practiced insurance defense for almost nine years as a Staff Counsel Attorney for GEICO General Insurance Company.
Brandon is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts.
Brandon is active in the Northwest Florida Community and frequently volunteers as a Judge for the University of West Florida Argo Invitational Mock Trial competition.
Brandon resides in Pensacola, Florida where he enjoys swimming, traveling, snow skiing, and supporting the Seminoles of Florida State University.
