Blake Paradise is an associate attorney in the Hollywood, FL office of Vernis & Bowling. His practice focuses on civil defense litigation, representing corporations, insurers, and their insureds in premises liability, automobile and trucking liability, construction-related, and product liability matters. Blake manages his caseload from inception through trial posture, negotiating resolutions and advising clients on litigation strategy, and has served on the trial team for circuit civil cases in Broward and Miami-Dade County.
Before joining private practice, Blake served as a judicial intern in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where he assisted with revisions to the Circuit’s Local Rules – work that was credited in the updated rules issued by the Florida Supreme Court.
Blake earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where he completed the Van Horn Law Group Pro Bono Honor Program. He also holds a master’s degree in real estate from the University of Florida’s Hough Graduate School of Business, giving him practical insight into the property and premises issues central to much of his casework, and earned his undergraduate degree in Criminology from the University of Florida.
Outside the office, Blake enjoys world travel, racquet sports, golf, and staying active.
