Vernis & Bowling is AV rated National Insurance defense firm seeking law clerks who can work part-time through the academic year and full-time in the summer to support our Islamorada, Florida Keys office. Clerks will be exposed to many civil litigation defense practice areas. This is a year-round clerk position.
Law clerks will be offered a flexible work schedule of around 15-20 hours per week (must be physically in office). Only students enrolled in an accredited law schools will be considered.
Among other tasks, law clerks will be performing research, reviewing documents, drafting motions, responding to discovery requests, and doing general trial preparation. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This position is a path to full-time employment upon graduation.
