Florida Forever Roofing & Restoration, LLC v. Citizens Property Insurance Corporation

Evan Zuckerman (Hollywood, FL) (Appeal) appeared before Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal to defend a trial court ruling in Citizens’ favor on the enforceability of an assignment of benefits agreement. Within a week after a favorable in-person oral argument (and before the Court issued its opinion), the appellant voluntarily dismissed the appeal. Our results highlight the value of clear briefing and decisive oral advocacy in resolving appellate matters efficiently and favorably.
